AdvisorFit (“we”, “us”) is a recruitment, assessment and activity-management tool for financial advisory teams operated by LIFA. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using AdvisorFit (the website at advisorfit.org or our mobile apps), you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — for recruiters/advisors: name, email, phone number, and an advisor code.
- Assessment data — for candidates: name, email, and the answers you provide in the assessment, used to generate a report.
- Activity & planning data — goals, weekly plans, cases, reflections and related figures you enter.
- Usage & technical data — basic logs (e.g. error reports and the time of activity) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To provide the assessment, generate reports, and run the activity-management and training features.
- To send service emails you expect (invitations, welcome messages, password resets, and reminders you have enabled).
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run AdvisorFit:
- Supabase — secure database hosting for your account and app data.
- Cloudflare — application hosting and security.
- Resend — delivery of the service emails described above.
- AI providers (OpenAI / DeepSeek) — to power the in-app help assistant and AI role-play practice. Only the content needed for that feature is sent, and it is not used to train their models for AdvisorFit.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account or assessment record is active. You can ask us to delete it (see below). Recruiters can also delete candidate records from within the app.
Your rights
Consistent with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To do so, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Access is protected by authentication, and data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
AdvisorFit is intended for use by adults in a professional context and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
